Bosnia's state-owned Elektroprivreda BiH signed a BAM 53 million contract with Turkish contractor Girişim Elektrik on 10 September to build the Gračanica 1 and Gračanica 2 photovoltaic plants, the utility said. [1]

The two plants will have 50 MWp of combined installed capacity and occupy a former external waste-disposal area of the Gračanica coal mine near Bugojno. The works include design, equipment supply, construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance. [1]

ContextEPBiH said financing was arranged with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and UniCredit Bank Mostar. Reusing former mining land links the project to the utility's broader shift toward renewable generation. [1]
