NATO’s North Atlantic Council met with KFOR’s commander on 15 September to review the mission in Kosovo. The Alliance said changes to its posture would proceed gradually, depend on security conditions and remain reversible if developments required it. [1]

NATO said KFOR would retain the personnel, equipment and readiness needed for its UN mandate. The mission works alongside Kosovo Police and EULEX in their respective security roles. The Alliance also reiterated support for the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. [1]
