Serbia’s Deposit Insurance Agency published a 31 October notice confirming the withdrawal of Alta banka’s operating licence and explaining the next steps for insured depositors. The notice sets coverage at €50,000 per eligible depositor. [1]

The agency said reimbursement would start no later than seven business days after the Commercial Court in Belgrade initiates bankruptcy proceedings.
