Masdar and Taaleri Energia inaugurated the 154 MW Čibuk 2 wind farm in Serbia on 14 September, according to Balkan Green Energy News. Located in southern Banat, the plant joins the 158 MW Čibuk 1 project, which began operating in 2019. [1]
The two facilities have a combined capacity of 312 MW. Čibuk 2 is equally owned by the Emirati and Finnish partners and was developed with New Energy Solutions. It secured a market premium in Serbia’s first wind auction, with UniCredit and Erste providing project financing and Nordex supplying equipment. [1]
