Air Serbia said its Moscow-bound flight returned to Belgrade late on 3 November after authorities required additional security checks for a passenger. The airline said the crew followed the competent authorities’ instructions and safety procedures. [1]

Anadolu reported that JU134 resumed its journey after passengers and luggage were screened and reached Moscow early on 4 November. Serbian media identified Aleksandar Vulin as the passenger who had allegedly bypassed screening. Vulin denied this, saying he had completed the checks and alleging a political motive. [2]

ContextVulin said he was travelling to discuss an extension of Serbia’s gas agreement with Russia. That was his account of the trip; the airline’s statement did not identify the passenger. [2] [1]
