Serbia’s Interior Ministry said on 4 November that eight serving officers and a civilian who was an officer at the time of the alleged offence had been detained for up to 48 hours. Internal control acted on a Belgrade prosecutor’s orders. [1] [2]

The ministry alleges that the suspects jointly used force and threats against several people in the government-building garage on Nemanjina Street on 14–15 August 2025 to obtain information and intimidate them. The suspects are to appear before prosecutors; detention is not a finding of guilt. [2]
