Shareholders of Montenegro’s transmission-system operator CGES authorised the management board on 30 September to sign connection-infrastructure agreements for the planned Sinjajevina 1 and Sinjajevina 2 wind projects. [1]
The applications describe capacities of 136 MW and 352 MW, respectively. CGES plans a 400/110/35 kV substation near Kolašin, estimates the connection investment at €40 million and targets commissioning in 2030. [1] [2]
ContextThe decision authorises contracts and grid infrastructure; it does not mean the two wind farms are built or operating. SeeNews noted that earlier environmental documents listed lower combined generation capacity, so the final installed capacity may differ from the connection applications. [2]
