Romania’s Defence Ministry said two Spanish F-18s took off from Mihail Kogălniceanu after radar detected two aerial targets on Ukrainian territory near Izmail and Kiliya during the night of 2–3 November. Ukrainian authorities also reported drones in the area. [1]
Residents of northern Tulcea received a RO-Alert at 23:43 local time. The alert ended at 00:21; no entry into Romanian airspace was reported. The ministry did not announce an interception or identify the targets’ operator. [1]
